Aluminum gates are priced out separately and this will need to include several items. First the gate posts to support the gate (hinge side) needs heavier extrusion (thicker post) and extra wet pour concrete to establish a firm footer for the gate. The latch side of the gate should also be the heavier extrusion because it will take a lot of slamming abuse over the years. Gate hinges can be spring loaded but the important point here is that they are SPECIFICALLY MADE FOR ALUMINUM FENCING! These hinges connect on two faces of the gate post and the gate itself to secure the hinge. By using flat faced hinges you are definitely asking for trouble.
Gate latches also need to be SPECIFICALLY MADE FOR ALUMINUM FENCING!
