It is called the silent killer because it only takes seconds and no sound from victims. So to protect your loved ones make sure your pool and pool fence are up to pool code safety standards.

  • Pool fencing 48″ minimum height outside grade

  • Less than 4″ opening between pickets
  • Maximum distance off ground to bottom of fence 2″
  • Bottom rail to next highest rail minimum 45″
  • Gates open out, away from pool
  • Gate hinges self closing
  • Gates are self latching

  • Gates latch release is 54″ off outside grade
